It is the year 1997, Our world is days from being burnt to a crisp by the harsh rays of the sun penetrating our broken atmosphere. Five years ago the waste and pollution from us humans reached a record high and the atmosphere burst. We no longer remained shielded from the biting radiation of space. Most believe there is nothing we can do. Is over to them, doom has come and we most simply accept this. But this is not true. There is one last chance. But we were afraid of a more powerful being and exiled them. She is known as Astro, The Moon Girl.
However she need not be called. The Moon Girl promised to protect the Earth for strange reasons we cannot fathom. Clutched in the jaws of apocalypse we stared our fiery end in the face. The Moon Girl at that moment flew straight through our planet striking the core at light speed. In a single bright flash the atmosphere was rid of its killer and shielded the Earth one again.
